Earthly Witness and Divine Witness

 

To receive Christ

is not accomplished through church membership,

nor by outer ritual

of acknowledging Jesus as one's savior

but never knowing Him in reality

by contacting Him in meditation.

 

To know Christ

signifies to close the eyes,

expand the consciousness

and so deepen the concentration

that through the inner light of soul intuition

one participates in the same consciousness

that Jesus had.

 

Saint John and other

advanced disciples of Jesus

who truly "received Him"

felt him as the Christ Consciousness

present in every speck of space.

 

A true Christian

--- a Christ-one ---

is he who frees his soul from the consiousness of the body

and unites it with the Christ intelligence

pervading all creation.

slothful in other's eyes
fakes, bums, slackers
this is their disquise.
premonitions of their death
the levels underneath
desire, action, virtue and truth
which perspective is best?
earthly or nothingness to know
God's desire! God's action!
God's virtue! God's TRUTH...
The thunders have announced so.
We must look at each other and see
Ourselves in others' eyes
Love of kindred souls
This is what God wants us to be!
But witness' lot is what they will observe
Not the fullness of Spirit
That lies beneath
The Son has just thrown you a curve.

Of goodness, Of brotherhood. Of love we speak
Of deep thought, Of affirmation,

Our Divine Spirit, Our Oneness
Our ONE GOD with love for the strong and meek.
Within our minds, Within our voices
Within our hearts. Within our souls
Within the circle all are welcome; not a clique.
